Really, aggressiveness is NO different from the old system where the team with the post damage done to the GL wins (that is how "aggressivness" is calculated. It really won't make any difference at all except prevent that 7 monk team turtling abuse.
Really, they just
a) didn't explain the concept enough when they first annoucned it
b) didn't really need to come up with a whole new word for this. The term "aggresiveness" is just confusing people.
They should have just said, "it is the same as before, the team that causes more damage to the GL wins, except now there is a penalty for enchanting the GL."
If that had been the announcement, most of this confusion would not exist.

Bah. I think they should just keep a deathmatch tally throughout the match, include NPCs as kills, and if the match makes it to 28 minutes award the team with the most kills the victory. Guild Lord be damned.

- Reverted Guild Battle to pre-ViO/tiebreaker conditions.
- Non-core classes are no longer allowed in Guild Battles.
Alternatively: Hi ANet, allow some proph/core set tournaments.

Prophecies only would only work if they changed the skills back to what they were during prophecies, instead of some being balanced based on the powercreep.

We occasionally run proph+core in our Sealed Deck games, and it all seems to work out fine, though I always feel the itch to run Boonprot.

Did you watch ANY GvG before Factions? It was far from boring. In comparison, GvG now is the boring GvG.

I feel guilty, but I agree. Too many options, undetermined viability, etc. made it... sloppy. I think the perfect GvG would have really tight rules as far as what you could bring... each month they could set the build (e.g., 2 warriors, 1 assasin, 1 ranger, 2 paragons, 1 rit, 1 ele) and the skills and tell everybody to go.
I dunno, but they can't do this again for GW2, they need tigher pvp.
